About the Yennaco Family
The Yennaco Family has been part of the awning business since 1942. More than 65 years later, we are proud to continue to work with historic sites, businesses and homes in the Greater Boston and Southern New Hampshire area providing high-quality, custom awnings and enclosures.
We work together as a family in the running of atlantic awning and offering unmatched products and services to our customers. We enjoy the work that brings us together and celebrates the accomplishments as a business and a family.
Doug Yennaco
Founder
Doug began the awning business in 1962, acquiring atlantic awning to create a thriving business to support his young family. A graduate of Northeastern University, he spent much of his youth in the Greater Boston area and was eager to serve the customer base he knew so well. In 1990, he expanded the company northward to serve his local community in Windham, NH. The New Hampshire office now serves thousands of local customers in New Hampshire.
Today, Doug is proudly passed the torch to his children and takes part in the business as needed. During peak seasons he can still be found working in the Cutting & Stitching department and assisting with client projects, but in the off-season he enjoys vacationing in Florida and spending time with friends and family.
